We are glad you are here!

We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. What to Expect

What can I expect to find at Lakeview?

At Lakeview, you can expect to find a warm and welcoming community, relevant teaching and preaching, classic worship, and a place to grow your relationship with Jesus and others. We will invite you to get connected and try something new!
Open hearts. Open minds. Open doors.

Where should I park?

Look for guest or handicap spots near the
Worship Center & Chapel. Covered parking is available in the North Parking lot. There are spots available for Golf Carts along Thunderbird Blvd.
On regular Sundays for those who can no longer drive, we provide a shuttle bus service from 8:00 am – 11:30 am.

What should I wear?

Our services have a more casual feel and you’ll find everything from jeans and t-shirts and shorts to business casual attire. If you have an assistive device, the ushers will be available to assist in seating.
Most importantly, dress comfortably and for the weather, because Arizona heat is serious!

When should I arrive?

We suggest arriving 20-30 minutes ahead of the service time to account for parking and allow enough time to find a comfortable seat before worship begins.
You’ll be met by a greeter as you arrive who will be happy to help you find your way.
Ample restrooms are in each location on campus. Several also have bidets available and other amenities.
You will also receive a bulletin as you arrive, so check out what is coming up in the next week or two. We are glad to answer any questions!

What is the Worship Experience like?

At Lakeview, we offer two  services. Both include prayer, singing, and a relevant, scriptural sermon shared by our Pastor.

The worship service at 8:00 am is inviting and cozy. Held in our chapel, we begin each service with a hymn sing, selected on the spot by the gathered congregation. Communion at all services.
The 9:30 am worship service is held in the Sanctuary and includes organ and piano year round and choir during the winter months. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month.

What do you have for children, youth, and young adults?

Children, youth, and young adults are always welcome in our services and activities. Each Sunday we have activity bags for children available by request from an usher. We also have children and youth participate as acolytes or liturgists. Young adults serve with us often on staff or volunteering.
Since Lakeview is located in Sun City, an active adult retirement community, at this time we do not provide additional youth programs. As the need arises, we are open to adding additional class to provide our youth with a place to grow their relationship with Jesus.

Meet Pastor Kristin

I'm a pastor, a wife, a mother, and above all, a follower of Jesus. I experience God's presence in many places—through music, art, creativity, meaningful conversations, and the beauty of everyday life. Favorite hymns like Be Still and Know, How Great Thou Art, Gather Us In, and When Morning Gilds the Skies reflect my faith and remind me that God's love is present in every season. A scripture verse that has especially shaped my ministry is Hosea 2:14: "The desert will lead you to your heart where I will speak," a reminder that God often meets us in quiet places and speaks tenderly to our hearts.

I am looking forward to getting to know you—your stories, your passions, and the ways God has been faithfully at work along your journey. I believe the church is a community where everyone is welcomed, valued, and called together by God's love, and I look forward to worshiping, serving, learning, and growing in faith alongside you.
