If you are looking for community and a place to grow in faith, we invite you to explore Lakeview UMC and discover where your interests might meet with our ministries.

Our church is alive and vibrant:
Helping us to know and grow in God’s grace;
Offering a place to meet others, find joy & friendship, and care for spiritual
& emotional needs;
and Providing a place to serve God and the needs of the community.
When on campus stop by our Welcome Kiosk where we will be glad to talk with you, answer your questions and help you find a place at Lakeview.

Ministries

Worship happens on Sunday mornings at 8 am in our Chapel, a more intimate and lively setting with a hymn sing, a chance to share prayer concerns and enjoy an inspiring message.  Communion is served at each service and everyone is welcome to participate, whether you are a member or not.

We also worship at 9:30 am in our Sanctuary with liturgy, our choir and music ensembles.
Worship is our time to meet and know God together. Come and join us in-person or online!

Men’s and Women’s Ministries

Each month, our United Methodist Women’s group gathers for meaningful times of study, heartfelt devotions, and a focus on missions that inspire and uplift.
Our United Methodist Men meet on the first Saturday of every month for a delicious breakfast, warm conversation, and opportunities to make a difference
through missions work.
All are welcome - come connect, grow, and serve with us!

Caring Ministries

Caring Ministries are a vital part of our church to provide emotional
and spiritual support for life’s challenging moments.

We have Stephen Ministry (a one-on-one ministry to help in times of change or stress),
a telephone calling ministry for those who would like to receive weekly phone check-ins, and pastoral counseling,

GriefShare is for those going through the journey of loss.
We are a supportive community for all who are aging and for those in trying times.

Missions and Service

Missions and Service are at the heart of Lakeview United Methodist Church. We’re passionate about giving back to our community and helping those in need, showing our love for God through service to our neighbors. We actively support Valley View Food Bank, the Justa Center for homeless seniors, Habitat for Humanity, the Heifer Project, and other meaningful initiatives.

Classes & Groups

Our Classes & Groups for Growing in Faith happen throughout the week, both on campus and online. We believe that community matters, and everyone needs a place to belong.

We offer Bible studies, classes in personal growth, drumming, prayer, and more.

Small groups at Lakeview are a place to nourish your soul and experience the joy of walking a spiritual journey together.
