King Hezekiah hosts Babylonian envoys and proudly displays the wealth and splendor of Judah’s kingdom. The prophet Isaiah later confronts Hezekiah, warning him that because of his actions, Babylon will eventually seize all these treasures, and his descendants will serve the Babylonian king.
