Exodus 12:1–14 and Matthew 18:15–20 remind us that faith is both remembering what God has done and allowing that grace to shape how we live together. Together, these passages remind us that a community shaped by grace is called to practice grace. We remember that God has welcomed and forgiven us, and that gives us the courage to extend that same grace to others. And when we gather in Christ’s name, we can trust that Christ is present among us.
