What does it mean to come home changed? This sermon invites us to think about the spiritual life as a journey of pilgrimage, one where we venture out, encounter something new, and return carrying pieces of the world in our hearts. Drawing from Psalm 36:5-9, we are reminded that God's steadfast love, faithfulness, and righteousness surround us like vast mountains and deep waters, and that God has been our source of living water all along.
