This hope is anchored in an inheritance that cannot fade, spoil, or be taken away—kept secure by God Himself. At the same time, Peter doesn’t ignore the reality of trials. Instead, he reframes them, showing that even in seasons of pain, God is at work refining faith, shaping it into something more valuable than gold. Even though we may not see Jesus physically, we are invited to love Him, trust Him, and rejoice in Him.
