CARING MINISTRY Stephen Ministry – We have 32 active Stephen Ministers  reaching out to over 83 of our members with weekly visits of care and encouragement. These volunteers provide the opportunity for communion, prayer, Bible reading, and friendship in member’s homes who are facing difficult situations. Each one makes a great difference in the lives they touch. They are confident that Jesus is with them and is working through them!

Betty Barrick Library

The Library Lakeview UMC has a library with more than 2,000 items, including books, DVDs, CDs and talking books. Fifteen categories of books range from Christian Living to Fiction and Poetry. The Reference Section is especially helpful to those planning talks or working in Bible studies. The Betty Barrick Library started in 1970 with two stacks outside the receptionist’s office. Transportation Ministries

Transportation Ministries Sunday and weekday rides provided by our church. Sunday rides to the 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. worship service are arranged in the new bus and mini-van by Transportation Coordinator. Rides to the 9:00 a.m. service are given by volunteers as available. Weekday rides are given by volunteers in one of the church vans or in cars, as the individual need dictates.  Volunteers have responded when a driver was needed for one of our members on a Sunday…
