Caring for our Soul
We wish to thank the church members for their heartwarming cards, concerns and prayers regarding my past illness, but most of all your prayers. It has been a tough first quarter of 2019 for us but with your love and thoughtfulness we are weathering the storm. The days get long lying in a hospital bed or recuperating at home, but your caring has lifted our spirits and helped the healing process. Thank you,
Connie & Jon Groff
Dear Chef Linda,
Thank you for going out of your way to provide gluten and dairy free meals since I found out that I was gluten intolerant as well as dairy intolerant at the TNT dinners. I really appreciate the care and kindness you put into finding innovate meals that are so yummy and good for me!! Thank you again for your care, concern, and great meals. Blessings,
To our Dear Friends at Lakeview UMC,
Doris and I wish to express a sincere “Thank You” to the many friends who took time to send us beautiful words of encouragement and well-being.
We are now living in a “Group Home” where all our daily needs are managed. We do miss being able to attend Sunday Services, but the monthly bulletin serves us well.
Again, please express our “Thank You” to all these caring people! Randy & Maxine Chambers, Gary & Kathy Jobes, Ken and Jeannie Hill, John and Zona DeWeerdt (Thanks for the Tea!), Clayton Shankland (The Blessing of Aaron – God Bless You!), Betty Nunn, Kathy Wilson and the Sunday School Gang: Joe Lockhart, Eli Reeves, Sarah Butcher, Lynn Thornton, Jan Norwood, Sally Newell, and Betty Wally.
Doris & Jack Tolar
P.S. Pastor Ross – we do miss you!
Many thanks to all of you who filled Easter buckets. We sent over 100 beautifully filled buckets to the Food Bank. These will be distributed to boys and girls in our area.
