The Many Sounds of 9-SW

The “Many Sounds of 9” Band from the Great Northwest has moved to the Southwest, and is here to play for your dances and entertainment. Now called “9 SW” which is short for the “Many Sounds of 9 Southwest.” Made up of local musicians, this group is unusual in that all the musicians double instruments, which allows us to re-create the sounds of the big bands with 4 trumpets, 4 trombones or 4 saxes with just nine players.

The Sounds of the Southwest Singers community choir is an all-volunteer non-profit organization and we are open to anyone who loves to sing. Our choir was founded in March, 2010 by founding director Matt Deller. We are self-supporting, relying solely on funding from individuals within the community as well as corporate sponsorships.
